Born to a small subterranean settlement, not much else is known of Sezane's forebears. He was found in an abandoned cavern in the Black Shroud by a band of Serpent officers patrolling the area. One of the soldiers took him in and raised him in Gridania. People in the city heard about this 'abandon duskwight babe' story and will whisper amongst themselves when they see him about.Growing up, he was a quiet, reserved boy who buries himself in any book he could find and learn about the floras in the botanist guild. He aspires to be a scholar one day, and set out to Limsa Lominsa to study the art of arcanum. However, this dream was never achieved. At 27 summers old, Sezane ran out of funds on his research ventures and had to return to Gridania.After his guardian retired, he had to make ends meet by taking jobs at the adventurer's guild. Turns out he's really good at what he does, so he never really continued to pursue a scholar's path. Not too long after the Scion of the Seventh Dawn took notice of his work and possession of the Echo.Though he's not as learned as the other scions, he still loves to help the scions on their research ventures - especially on any summoning magicks.

Paw'li Pocket

his life partner. They connected through their physical ranged combat skills and knowledge. They've been to multiple travels together with a company of two other members. After a while they realized their strong bond to each other and celebrated their eternal bond with good company. They both reside in Empyreum.

his beloved companion. G'raha revealed his feelings plainly, knowing that Sezane was still working through feelings about his past love. Sezane hesitated at first. It took a lot of denying his own feelings, but he decided it was worth the risk rather than not knowing what they could be.

Haurchefant Greystone

 ^{past first love} 
his first true love. Haurchefant saw something in him back when Sezane dueled his men in Camp Dragonhead. They did a lot for each other and each of them is the only person the other depends on. Their budding relationship was tragically cut short.

Hermes

Sezane had this feeling when he met Hermes that they were deeply connected long, long ago. He just doesn't know why, or if this is even his memory...

Aymeric de Borel

Aymeric comforted Sezane after losing his first love. A small part of him wanted them to be something more than that, but Sezane was too emotionally unavailable at the time, and he didn’t want to force anything.
